I placed the tattoo on my toilet lid, and it is certainly colorful. Let's face it, when you are putting a full color toilet tattoo of fish on your lid, it's not for subtlety. I've seen other posts that found the tattoo didn't adhere properly, but I've had no trouble with this. My lid isn't totally flat, bevels a bit on the edges. And the material sticks nicely to it.

The guest bathroom is decorated and painted as if it were underwater, so when we needed a new toilet seat we wanted something inexpensive but not plain.

A dark blue toilet seat and this applique turned out to be the perfect solution. The applique applies easily, fits well, and provides just the right "pop" of color, as well as adding to the whole underwater theme. I couldn't be happier with the result or the price.

I received this item yesterday. The seat was beautiful and well made. Unfortunately, the shiny black finish was very scuffed by the corrugated packaging material. I returned it (very easy to do......kudos to Amazon) and ordered another. Hopefully this one will arrive in better condition.

Unfortunately, the next one was the same way. I would now give this product one star. This is not Amazons packaging issue....it is the manufacturers problem

I was attracted to the 'Quick Release' bolts 'til I found how poorly they remained secured to the base, repeatedly requiring that the seat be removed so that they could be re-tightened. Annoying!

Then I found that the rugged-looking hinges actually relied on overly thick 'axels' around which too thin plastic bands actually support the seat in place; these bands are just too weak to withstand any lateral movement by one seated there, which seems obvious when you recall the leveraging they must then withstand.

This is especially problimatic now that the bumpers under the seat no longer [aided by the weight of the occupant] prevent slippage [as they did when made of rubber] but promote it as they are now made of a hard, slippery plastic. Madening!!

Back to "Form Follows Function" please.

The Easy-Clean technology should be the industry standard. It even installed easier than I expected because the fastening bolts don't go through the hinges; they attach to the commode and the hinges then snap onto them. And off for cleaning, meaning the hassle of washing around the hinges is gone, making cleaning a snap - literally. You could wash the seat separately in the bathtub if you wanted to.

Of course my rave applies to all the company's models with this feature; upgrading to a better model will be a snap, too (pun intended). If Bemis has a patent on this brilliantly simple improvement of this ubiquitous commodity, it's going to make the company a lot of money.

It was a steal of a deal for under $10 at Home Depot; best investment we made in our bathroom renovation.

This seat couldn't be any easier to install, fits well, and is removable to clean. It's nice and heavy, has good color (white), and is as comfortable as a toilet seat can be I guess. A great buy for the money.
